Debian EFI install on Macbook [1]

Debian 7 Stable XFCE 4.8 installation sur Macbook. Rester en version stable impose une série de configuration post-install. Ces éléments seront inutiles à partir de XFCE 4.10.

1. Préparer et installer Debian

  • Boot your Mac session, shrink your partition and create a new FAT32 one.
  • Reboot your Mac session, install rEFIt or rEFInd
  • Reboot your Mac to launch rEFIt, insert your DVD/USB Debian ISO
  • Run the installation, be careful to install Grub on the root Linux partition
  • Reboot and choose Debian in rEFIt

2. Activate sudo : log as root and :

$ adduser sudo {username} & shutdown -r now

3. Vérifier les sources.list :

$ sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list
## wheezy
 deb http://ftp.fr.debian.org/debian/ wheezy main contrib non-free
 deb http://security.debian.org/ wheezy/updates main contrib non-free
 deb http://ftp.fr.debian.org/debian/ wheezy-updates main

4. Activate wireless :

Se connceter en ethernet, ouvrir un terminal en su :

$ apt-get update
$ apt-get install linux-headers-$(uname -r|sed ‘s,[^-]*-[^-]*-„’) broadcom-sta-dkms
$ modprobe -r b44 b43 b43legacy ssb brcmsmac
$ modprobe wl

5. Font rendering :

Plusieurs pistes. Il est recommandé de choisir le mode de lissage Léger (light).

$ dpkg-reconfigure fontconfig-config

Choisir ensuite Automatic, Automatic et No.

$ dpkg-reconfigure fontconfig

Créer un fichier ~/.fonts.conf contenant :

 <!DOCTYPE fontconfig SYSTEM ‘fonts.dtd’>
 <fontconfig>
 <match target="font">
 <edit mode="assign" name="rgba">

 </edit>

 </edit>
 </match>
 <match target="font">
 <edit mode="assign" name="lcdfilter">
 <const>lcddefault</const>
 </edit>
 </match>
 </fontconfig>

Restart X.

6. Souris et Touchpad :

Configurer tap-to-clic et scrolling pour XFCE 4.8

$ sudo leafpad /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/synaptics.conf

Inscrire :
